Harold Ford Doner

DONER, Harold Ford of Watson, Saskatchewan, formerly of Gormley and Fordwich, Ontario, entered into his heavenly rest on January 11, 2016 at the age of 97. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Shirley (Art) Welsh of Quill Lake, Saskatchewan; Fern of Calgary, Alberta; Ken of Aurora; Keith (Mary Grace) of Toronto; Nancy (Frank) Bruyere of St. Rose Du Lac, Manitoba; and Terry (Barb) of Richmond Hill. He also leaves behind his sister Helen (Walt) Dyck of Grimsby, brother Don of Stouffville, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Jean (nee Bond), brother Lloyd, sister Gladys Schlichter, son-in-law Stan Dorries, and daughter-in-law Margaret Doner.

Visitation was held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Ave., Markham, Ontario on Friday January 15, 2016 from 7 – 9 p.m.

Funeral service was held at Heise Hill Brethren In Christ Church, 11760 Woodbine Ave., Gormley, Ontario on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. Internment followed at the Heise Hill Cemetery.
