The family is saddened to announce that James Gregory Stenger, 51 years, of Humboldt passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Humboldt District Hospital.  Jim was born in Regina on October 15, 1964 to Julius and Evelyn (nee Schleger) Stenger.  Jim obtained his education at Imperial, Nokomis and Davidson Schools.  Following his schooling, at the age of 20, he moved to Humboldt and became a resident with Futuristic Industries.  Jim loved to have a good time and make people laugh, a real jokester with a big heart. He could imitate people and various noises.  Jim was small but mighty and was very flexible and would show anyone who showed interest in just how flexible he really was.  Jim loved to entertain especially with his singing and dancing.  He was very active in the Special Olympics and competed in bowling and won many awards to show his talent.  Jim thoroughly enjoyed going to Camp Easter Seal and would be very busy with all the activities there.  He also loved swimming either at camp or at the pool.  Family was very important to Jim and he would wait for Lydia to come regularly and pick him up every 6 weeks for his little get away to Coppersands.  Jim will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his four siblings and seven nieces and nephews: Judy (Warren) Dunne of Watrous and family Mike (Sara) Dunne of Watrous, Julie (Eric) Edwards of Nokomis and Sherri (Matthew) Tamsma of Francis; Joe (Myrlene) Stenger of Saskatoon and family Wendy Stenger of London, ON and Sean Stenger (Kara) of Saskatoon; Lydia Stenger of Coppersands and family Kristy Stenger (Rylan) of Langham and Casey Stenger (Doug) of Regina; and Karen Stenger of Lloydminster, SK; numerous great nieces, nephews and all his friends and staff from Futuristic Industry over the past 30 years.
