Jerrod Brinkman

The accidental death of Jerrod Mark Brinkman, 30 years, of Lake Lenore occurred on Wednesday, March 21, 2018.  Jerrod was born on December 18, 1987 in Humboldt to Dale and Mary Lou (nee Mamer) Brinkman.  He grew up on the family farm near Lake Lenore, attending school in Lake Lenore.  He then graduated grade 12 from St. Peter’s High School in Muenster.  Over the past 12 years, Jerrod had worked as a truck driver for various companies.  He also enjoyed helping his dad Dale on the family farm.  Jerrod loved spending time outdoors camping, fishing, boating, quadding, hunting and sledding.  Jerrod will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother Mary Lou Mamer of Lake Lenore; father Dale Brinkman (Charlene Greig) of Lake Lenore; two brothers, one sister and their families:  Wade (Kelly) Brinkman and children Jayce and Taryn of Lashburn, Chad (Amanda) Brinkman and children Carson and Kyra of Lloydminster, and Marissa Brinkman (Randy Toye) and children Acey and Sawyer of Saskatoon; step siblings:  Devin Kroeker of Nanaimo, BC; Jasmine Fleming of Calgary, and Katrina Fleming of Vancouver; grandmothers, Elaine Mamer of Humboldt and Irma Brinkman of Lake Lenore; godparents Marlene Pfeiffer and Brian Mamer; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Jerrod was predeceased by his grandfathers, Norbert Mamer and Henry Brinkman.  The Funeral Service for Jerrod was held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lake Lenore.  Memorial Donations in Jerrod’s memory may be made to Mental Health and Addiction Services c/o Humboldt District Hospital Foundation.
