Murray Stauber

The death of Murray Stauber, 66 years of Humboldt, SK occurred on March 23, 2017 at Porteous Lodge, Saskatoon. Murray was born September 15, 1950 to Louise (nee Mandersheid) Stauber in Humboldt, SK. Murray grew up and attended school in Humboldt. He worked with his father Joseph at Stauber Well Drilling. He also worked as a plumber at Anglestad Plumbing and Heating. After his father’s passing he spent most of his adulthood being a father figure to his siblings. When his mother’s health started to fail Murray became her caregiver. Murray took care of his mother until her passing on March 25, 1998. By that point his health started to decline and he moved to Saskatoon to a private care home then onto Porteous Lodge where he spent the rest of his days. Murray was loved by his family: Geraldine (Perr) Lykkemark of Calgary; Shirley† (Jack) Johanson of Saskatoon;  Clifford (Linda) Stauber of St. Albert; Arlene† (Gerry) Hermann of Humboldt; Gloria Meyers of Humboldt; Audrey Stauber (Perrie Szmul) of Hudson Bay; LeeAnn (Gene) Gerspacher of Humboldt and numerous nieces and nephews. Murray was predeceased by his mother and father Louise and Joseph Stauber. The Graveside Funeral Service for Murray was held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Roman Catholic Cemetery, Humboldt officiated by Fr. Greg Smith-Windsor. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home, Humboldt (306-682-1622).
