We are sorry we cannot be there today for the celebration of life, but we will be thinking of you all. We are so very saddened at the loss of such a wonderful man, we just wish we had gotten to know him more, taken from this world far too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ken & I were best friends when we were kids. We lived across the street from one another on Geneva St. in St. Catharines. We played sports together and when we played hockey his older brothers would put him net. After he got his goalie pads he was even better! We had a lot of fun growing up together. He made friends easily and everyone should have a friend like Ken. To the entire family I am so sorry for your loss. Mark

So very shocked to hear about Ken. Deepest sympathy to the family. We got to know Ken through bowling and games against Jack and Ken were never dull! Cherish the memories he leaves behind and may they help you get through this difficult time.

We just saw the posting of Ken's passing from Helen and are truly saddened. The Ruthven family grew up in the same neighbourhood as we did in St. Catharines (my brother was Bill Blank - who passed away in 1990). 'Kenny' was a nice 'kid' and grew up to be a 'nice man'. I can't tell you how sorry I am for the entire family. 'Gone too soon. Our sympathy to the entire family. Katherine
