Susan Agnes Marie Benoit

It is with great sadness that her family announces the sudden passing of Susan Agnes Marie Benoit, 65 years, of Guernsey, at her residence on Monday, January 13, 2020.  Susan was born June 22, 1954 to Auriel and Ethel (nee Michano) Benoit in Marathon, Ontario. She was raised in Ontario until she moved to Saskatchewan in her early 20’s.  She resided in various communities around the province working at a number of jobs.  She worked at the Allan PCS mine for several years, then transferred to the Lanigan site where she worked until retirement.  While at the mine, she worked in various positions over the years including surveyor, warehouse supply and security.  In 1992, she gave birth to her daughter Kayla. Susan was an amazing mom and her life revolved around giving Kayla the best life possible.   Susan enjoyed her retirement years in Guernsey.  She loved crafting and cooking, even operating a catering business for a few years. Her dog and cats were her constant companions and held a special place in her heart. Susan was a friend of Bill W for over 30 years.  Susan will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Kayla Benoit of Regina, her dog Zoe, her cats Booboo and Rhonda; and her two sisters and their families, Judy and Patricia.  Susan was predeceased by her parents Auriel and Ethel Benoit and sister Maureen.  A Funeral Service will take place later in Spring 2020.
