The death of Allan Howard Knopp, 88 years, of Outlook, SK and formerly of Watson, SK, occurred on February 12, 2025, at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon.
Allan was born on March 18, 1936, in the Watson district to Nathanial and Pauline (nee Patzer) Knopp, 1 of 10 children. He completed his education in Watson, and eventually started work with the Department of Highways. During this time, he met the love of his life, Marlene McLeod, and they were wed on August 10, 1968 in Watson. Together they had one son, Todd. Allan and Marlene moved to Outlook in 1974. Allan was an outgoing man. He enjoyed talking to people, fishing, hunting, horse racing, hockey, baseball, and many other things.
Allan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Marlene Knopp; son Todd Knopp; and close nephew Morley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Nathanial and Pauline; siblings Fred Knopp, Herbert Knopp, Edwin Knopp, Elsie Wright, Elgin Knopp, Helen (Stan) Tysowski, Anne (Matt) Prokopetz, Danny Knopp, Walter Knopp, and Martha Hansen.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. from New Horizon Centre, Watson. Interment followed in the Watson Public Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Allan can be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan.
