Brett Michael Nienaber

The untimely and tragic death of Brett Michael Nienaber, 30 years, of Lake Lenore occurred on Sunday, December 26, 2021.  Brett was born on October 30, 1991 in Humboldt to Jody Nienaber and Kory Indzeoski.  He grew up in Lake Lenore, moving to Regina with his mom for most of his school years and then returning to Lake Lenore, graduating from Lake Lenore School.  He worked in the construction field for numerous companies, doing concrete work, roofing and carpentry.  He was most recently employed at Stammen Lumber in Annaheim.  Brett was a very social person, always the life of the party.  He loved entertaining, he was an excellent cook, a master at BBQing and mixing drinks.  Brett enjoyed playing board games and card games and was a movie buff, with horror and comedy’s being his favorites.  He was a good listener and asked lots of questions because he was always curious about things.  Brett wore his heart on his sleeve, always saw the best in people and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  Children were naturally drawn to him and he had a great passion for all animals.  He enjoyed playing Mario Maker with Chris and loved watching the Rider games with his mom.  Brett will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mom Jody Nienaber (Dave Draude) of Annaheim; his dad Kory (Chantel) Indzeoski of Humboldt; siblings: Tyler McKinley, Kinsey Indzeoski and Makenna Indzeoski; step-brothers: Jason Draude, Derek (Jackie) Draude, Joel Draude, and Dustin Draude; love of his life, Johanna Davis of Humboldt; maternal grandma, Judy Nienaber (Russ Trew) of Rose Valley; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Marj Indzeoski of Humboldt; aunts, uncles and cousins:  Sean (Leighann) Nienaber and family Rheanna, Katie, Brayden and Mitchell; Jennifer “Auntie Pretty” (Darcy) Weber and family Kelsey, Dallas, Trista and Dawson; Colin Indzeoski (Jessie Eggerman) and his son Brandon; Mandy (Tom) Schweighardt and family Keaton and Emersyn; and Krista Indzeoski and family Lane and Lacey; and friends that were like brothers to him Michael Garrioch, Tyler Hemm and Chris Gaja.  Brett was predeceased by his maternal grandpa, Rudy Nienaber.  A Celebration of Brett’s life will be held at a later date.
