It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Candace Marlene Kennedy, age 67. Candace passed away on Tuesday, July 9th, 2024, at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Humboldt, SK, she was a daughter of the late Howard & Ada (MacLeod) Kennedy.
Candace spent most of her life in Humboldt, where she worked at the library and volunteered with children at the local school.
Candace moved to Nova Scotia in 2005 to be closer to her extended family.
Candace enjoyed a quiet life with her cherished cats Mello & Tippy.
Candace will be dearly missed by Cousin Brian (Grace) MacLeod of Springhill & Good Friend Doreen (Claude) Bryan of Springhill.
Arrangements have been entrusted to W. Allen Funeral Home, 60 Water St., Oxford, NS (902-447-2167). A private family graveside has taken place and Candace has been laid to rest in the Pugwash River Cemetery.
