Clinton Schuler Obituary

The sudden and unexpected death of Clinton William Schuler, 40 years of Blaine Lake, SK and formerly of Humboldt, occurred on Friday, November 4, 2022.  Clint was born on February 21, 1982 in Saskatoon to Bill and Lonita (nee Marshall) Schuler.  They lived on an acreage near Saskatoon, and he started school at Dalmeny.  In 1993, his family moved to Humboldt, where Clint spent the rest of his childhood.  He completed his education there.  During his high school years, he spent his time outdoors as much as possible, camping and fishing.  After completing school, he moved to Alberta where he worked in the oil patch and heavy haul industry, where he became a journeyman welder and a very good mechanic.  Clint loved spending time with his nephew Cohen going to movies and hanging out with him.  Upon moving back to Saskatchewan, Clint really appreciated his life on the farm.  The open space and quietness brought him much peace and comfort.  Clint has always loved the outdoors from the BC mountains to the Saskatchewan flat lands.  Camping brought him much pleasure and he would be able to make his camping experience better with creating necessities out of simple items.  He also adored dogs and had a few faithful companions over the years.  Clint will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his parents Bill and Lonita Schuler of Saskatoon; sister Amanda Schuler (Alix) and her children Cohen and Kenley, all of Saskatoon; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.  He was predeceased by his brother Tyler Schuler; maternal grandparents George and Doreen Marshall; and paternal grandparents Cliff and Dolly Schuler.  A Private Family Graveside Service will be held in the spring of 2023 at the White Bear Cemetery, Kyle, SK.  Memorial donations in Clint’s memory may be made to Prairie Sky Recovery Center Box 535 Wilkie, SK S0K 4W0.
