The family of Colin Hemm are sad to announce his passing on June 16, 2023, at the age of 50. Colin will be sadly missed by his father Gerald Hemm, sister Jerri McPhee (brother-in-law Cam McPhee), Aunt Gwen and Uncle Dave Siermachesky, cousins Leanne Siermachesky and her daughter Cierra, and Scott Siermachesky and his children Sam & Victoria. He was predeceased by his mother Gail Hemm, his grandparents Herb & Doreen Stoll.
Colin grew up in Saskatoon attending Henry Kelsey and Mayfair Elementary schools and Mount Royal Collegiate. He worked various jobs in or near Saskatoon, his favorite being a tow truck driver. Colin liked to appear as a ‘Big Tough’ guy, but most knew him as a quiet kind soft-hearted man, who loved dogs and ‘tinkering’ with vehicles.
A graveside service was held on Friday June 30, 2023, at 10:30 am, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon.
In lieu of Flowers, the family has suggested supporting Saskatoon SPCA or The St. Paul Hospital Foundation.
