The family of Peter (Edward) Adair is saddened to share the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather. Pete passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the age of 76 years. Pete was a brother to 11 other siblings spread across 4 provinces. Pete grew up in Maryfield, Saskatchewan and told us many stories of potato soup, and the classic “wiener water soup” to highlight for us the gifts and blessings we all shared, and teaching us the importance of family and finances.
Pete’s wit, sense of humour, smile, and mischievous teases will be missed by many. A man of routine, the coffee crews at morning and afternoon timeslots, as well as Sunday breakfasts out won’t quite be the same.
Pete is survived by his wife of 53 years, Susan Adair (nee Kramer), their two children and their families: daughter Nikki (Nicole) Surka, son in law Mike Surka, and grandchildren Delaney and Ella (Gabrielle) of Grand Prairie, AB; as well as son Shawn Adair, wife Lisa Adair, and grandchildren Abbigail and Alexander of Rosetown, SK.
There will be no services at this time.
