Eva was the 5th of 8 children born to Albert and Delia (nee Turgeon) Morin on the family farm. She attended Chelton School and then worked at the Spalding Hospital for several years. During that time, she met Leo and they married July 3, 1946. They made their home west of Spalding where they raised their family.
Eva was best known for being warm and welcoming. The coffee pot was always on and fresh baked goods always available. She generously gave her time to community groups such as Chelton Ladies Club, 4-H Sewing and countless others. Eva and Leo enjoyed a full life of square dancing, playing cards and socializing. Eva loved to write as evidenced by her decades of dairies, letters, poems and family record keeping. She enthusiastically participated in every opportunity that came her way.
She is survived by her 3 children and their families. BRIAN (Juanita) and Tyler; BRENDA (Tony) and Nathan (Alanna) [Kyryn, Kathrine, Georgia] and Jesse (Kelsey); BEVERLY and Riley (Richelle), [Emerson, Beckham] and Robin (Alexis); sister Jean Schulte; brother-in-law Gordon Nystuen; many nieces and nephews, and many cherished friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Leo; her parents; 6 of her siblings and their spouses: Clara (Albert) Koenders, Edward (Mary) Morin, Beatrice (Walter) Henderson, Henry (Beatrice) (Ruth) Morin, Louis (Norma) Morin, Marie Nystuen, and Francis Schulte.
