Gail Gordon sadly passed away on November 24, 2023 at the age of 74. Gail was in Toronto doing what she loved best, visiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sadly, she became seriously ill while in Toronto and after a 3 week fight she was no longer able to hang on.
Gail was the mother of two children Melissa and Cliff and after marrying Stan she became stepmom to his 3 children Eric, Ervin and Karen.
Never afraid of a challenge Gail began a completely new way of life on the farm with her new blended family.
Gail cherished her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and loved spoiling them. She was fiercely protective of her family and heaven help you if she thought they were wronged in any way.
Her annual trips to the lake will always be remembered by those fortunate enough to join her as a special time to bring family closer together and create new memories.
Intelligent and naturally curious Gail always had a book near by and would often love to discuss current events. Her flower gardens were absolutely beautiful and she found solace in planting and taking care of them.
Gail was an animal lover and never missed an opportunity to help one in distress, from taking in homeless cats to fixing a bird’s broken wing, she loved to help and heal.
Gail will be so dearly missed.
Left to mourn are her husband Stan;
Children: Melissa (Dean) Larouche, grandchildren Renee (Neven) and Toni Larouche, great grandchildren Brixton, Nevena, Vukica and Dasa;
Cliff (Lori) Lisitza, grandchildren Zoe (Reid) Watson and Elizabeth Lisitza, great grandchild Owen;
Stepchildren: Ervin Gordon;
Karen (Dave) Holaday, grandchildren Holden, Zach, and Kierstyn;
Eric's children: Natasha Sookeroff and Rebecca Hueser;
Sisters, Shirley, Peggy, Judy, Kathy and brother Keith.
Gail was predeceased by her stepson Eric and sister Diane.
In keeping with Gail’s wishes, a Private Funeral Mass for immediate family and close friends was held at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in LeRoy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
