Garnet Raymond Vigoren passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital on Tuesday March 10, 2020 with family by his side.
Garnet was born in Wadena, Saskatchewan on July 18, 1936 to Palmer and Mary Vigoren, the oldest of 3 children.
Garnet is survived by his wife of 62 years Margaret Vigoren (Roberts); Children: Daughter Brenda (Brian) Bahnmann and son Mark (Simone); Son Glen (Tracy) Vigoren and Children Dean (Amber) and Ashly (Andy); and Daughter Cheryl (Brad) Harvey and Children Crystal and Bradley (Donnan); Brother Robert (Estelle) Vigoren; 4 great grandchildren Avery, Kai, Madeline and Ezra; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Garnet is predeceased by his parents Palmer and Mary Vigoren; Sister Shirley and husband Martin Kozar; and an infant sister.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Quill Lake Community Legion Hall, Quill Lake, SK. Interment followed at Clair Cemetery, Clair, SK. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be directed to Kidney Foundation of Canada/ Saskatchewan Branch (Unit 1-2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, S7L 6A8).
