October 5, 1945 – July 7, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lawrence Orest Zaharko who died on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the age of 79.  Lawrence was born on October 5, 1945 near Vermillion, Alberta, he grew up loving the outdoors and spent all of his career in the wood industry.  His personal passion was camping, fishing, hunting and he spent his retired years enjoying the “lake life” with his loving wife Pat and around his close friends near LeRoy, Saskatchewan.  Lawrence is survived by his wife Pat, daughter Krista, son Mike, stepchildren Anthony, Jennifer and all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and by loving brothers and sisters.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to the SPCA in Humboldt, SK.  We will all miss his humour and pranks in our lives! A Celebration Of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.
