Leslie Catherine (nee Monz) Wilkinson

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Leslie Catherine (nee Monz) Wilkinson, 56 years of Humboldt on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Humboldt District Hospital.  Leslie was born on September 24, 1964, the eldest of three children to James and Doreen (nee Haslbeck) Monz.  Leslie obtained all her education in Humboldt.  It was during her later years at high school where she met the love of her life Richard “Rick” Wilkinson and they were wed on July 13, 1985.  From this union two sons were born: Jarred and Dylan.  Leslie began working at Aline Furniture shortly after high school. Through out her life she worked at various businesses in Humboldt mainly in administration.  She was a very social person, so she loved working outside of the home and being with people.  Leslie enjoyed knitting and crafts and made many beautiful items.  Her family also have wonderful memories of her tasty desserts that she would make like: pies, crisps, and homemade chocolates to name a few. Leslie and Rick worked well together beautifying their yard with manicured flower beds.  There were many camping trips to Meeting Lake where Leslie loved spending fun times with her family. Nothing made Leslie happier then being a grandma.  They were “her babies”, known as the “dream team.”  Leslie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years short of one day, Rick Wilkinson of Humboldt; two sons and two grandchildren: Jarred (Jenna) Wilkinson of North Battleford; and Dylan (Shelby) Wilkinson of Watson and family Amanda and Zackary; brother Dezi Monz (Maryann) of Saskatoon and his family Jade Monz (Mitch), Kristen (Kyle) Flint and Lucas Monz all of Kelowna, BC; and sister Trina (Kevin) Holmgren of Warman and family Brittany (Alex) Holmgren of Denare Beach, Breanna Holmgren and Allysa Holmgren both of Warman; parents-in-law George and Jean Wilkinson of Humboldt; brothers and sisters in-law: Gerry (Roxanne) Wilkinson of Calgary, AB and family Nicole Wilkinson (Jamie) of Lethbridge, AB and Megan Wilkinson of Calgary, AB; Janice (Stacy) Lloyd and family Riley (Kaitlyn) Lloyd, Andy Lloyd all of Lumsden; and Curtis (Brandy) Wilkinson and family Emma Wilkinson and Avery Wilkinson all of Kamloops, BC;   Leslie was predeceased by her parents James and Doreen Monz.  As per Leslie’s wishes there will not be a Funeral Service.  Memorial donations in Leslie’s memory may be directed to Futuristic Industries
