Lillian Bauml Obituary

Lillian Bauml, age 86 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Humboldt District Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Lillian was born October 10, 1935 to Peter and Rose Gerwing, in a small, 2 room house 3 miles east of Lake Lenore. Lillian was the fifth of seven kids. In her earlier years, she had lots of fun singing, helping out in the house, and sewing.  She attended school in Lake Lenore until grade 11 when she quit and got a job at the general store in Lake Lenore as a store clerk to help her family. Lillian met her future husband, Clarence Bauml in 1955 and they got married July 16, 1958. Lillian and Clarence lived on the Bauml farm all their married years. They raised four children who later blessed them with 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She loved gardening, fishing, cards, scrabble, bowling, knitting, cooking, baking and was known for her delicious buns and bread and potato salad. Lillian was an active member in the Marysburg community, being on various committees, being an active member of the CWL, singing in the church choir, participating in musicals, curling in local bonspiels, and was very dedicated watching her children and grandchildren play all their sport activities. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren as they exceled in all the sports they played and was their number one fan. After Clarence died in 2006, Lillian retired to Humboldt and in December of 2020, made her final move to Bethany Pioneer Village. Lillian is survived by her four children and eleven grandchildren:
Dave (Val) Bauml of Marysburg, and their children Colin Bauml, Lisa (Zack) Woloshyn and Danielle (Brett) Parsons;

Ron (Joy) Bauml of Marysburg, and their children Braden (Alyesia) Bauml, Jenna Bauml and Cole Bauml;

Janine Lacoursiere of  Muenster, and her children Sarah (Jonah) McGrath and David Lacoursiere;

Murray (Naomi) Bauml of Lake Lenore, and their children Drew, Cody and Joel Bauml;

3 great grandchildren Hallie and Kylie Bauml, and Liv Woloshyn; sister Marian (Ray) Phaneuf; sisters-in-law Ann Prodahl, Vikki Bauml, Joan Allen, Dorothy Hopfner, MaryAnn Gerwing, and Cynthia Gerwing; brother-in-law Michael Bennett; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friends.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Bauml, son-in-law Michael Lacoursiere, great granddaughter Hannah Bauml, brothers Alois Gerwing, Daniel Gerwing, James Gerwing, Ray Gerwing, and sister Alma Bennett.
