The death of Mary Lou Mamer, 62 years, of Lake Lenore occurred on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Royal University Hospital, Saskatoon. Mary Lou was born on March 10, 1959 at Humboldt to Norbert and Elaine (nee Godart) Mamer. She grew up in Lake Lenore with her five siblings and attended school there. Following graduation, she moved to Saskatoon where she worked as a secretary for a lawyer with the Legal Aid Commission. Mary Lou married Dale Brinkman and they had a family of four. In the early 90’s, Mary Lou took the Special Care Aide course and began working for Home Care. Later she began working at Bethany Pioneer Village in Middle Lake, where she enjoyed many years and created special friendships with her co-workers. Mary Lou loved gardening, working in her yard with her flowers, pond and fish, and bird watching. She loved being at the lake with family and friends, camping, swimming and sitting around the fire at night. Mary Lou and her family made many memories on their trip to Mexico for Marissa and Randy’s wedding last year. Above all, she loved spending time with her nine grandchildren and was happily anticipating the arrival of number 10. Mary Lou will be lovingly remembered by her three children and nine grandchildren: Wade (Kelly) Brinkman of Lashburn and family Jayce, Taryn and Shyla; Chad (Amanda) Brinkman of Hillmond and family Carson, Kyra, Kacey and baby on the way; and Marissa (Randy) Toye of Saskatoon and family Acey, Sawyer and Rylee; two sisters and three brothers: Debbie (Jack) Jestin of Naicam, Brian (Jean) Mamer of Saskatoon, Marlene (David) Pfeiffer of Humboldt, Dean (Cynthia) Mamer of Prince Albert and Keith (Sharla) Mamer of Melfort.
