Robby Lynn Poppl

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robby Lynn Poppl.  Robby passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, with his family at his side. 

Robby was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan on June 27, 1962, to Ludwig and Vivian Poppl.  He was raised on the family farm just outside of St. Brieux with his brothers Elgin, Ryan, Kelly, Lyndon and sister Patricia.  Robby attended school in St. Brieux where he graduated, afterwards he went to work on the Dairy farm with Elgin.

Robby went on from farm life to working at the mines in Colonsay for the next 20 years.

In 1984 he married Kathy Mahussier and had four boys, Nathan, Dahlen, Reagan, and Landon.

Robby enjoyed spending time with his family, and grandchildren.  He was a golf enthusiast, as well as Rider fan.  Robby also enjoyed baseball and hockey games.

Robby is pre-deceased by his grandparents Louis and Mary(Huculak) Poppl and Bernard and Virginia(Baron) Allen. Parents Ludwig and Vivian(Allen) Poppl.  As well as numerous uncles and aunts. 

Robby is survived by his loving family, Son Nathan Poppl, Rhyan, Son Dahlen(AshLeigh), Hailee, Beckie, Son Reagan(Jesika Gehl), Kane, Nash, And Son Landon, Brett.

A Funeral Service for Robby was held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Malinoski & Danyluik Funeral Home & Crematorium. Memorial donations can be made out to St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care, for their outstanding help, and care for Robby.
