Susan Cathleen (Boyd) Reiter

Susan Cathleen Reiter (nee Boyd) passed away on January 3, 2023. Susan was 69 years old. Susan was born in Victoria, BC on December 27, 1953. She met Joseph Keith Reiter in 1974 and they were married on August 25, 1979. Susan had one lovely daughter, Karri and a step-son from Joe’s previous marriage, Keith. Susan started working by picking berries in the summer, then moved on to waitress and cook in a small restaurant, then after finishing college, worked as a bookkeeper, Vice-President’s Administrative Assistant, Hardware and Software Technician, Computer Software Instructor, Contract Service level Administrator, and Career and Employment Counsellor. Moved from Victoria to Saskatchewan in 2003 and ended up in Englefeld in 2012.

Susan would like to thank her friends that kept in contact, visited and brought goodies and gifts through the whole process. This was always much appreciated and perked up her day immensely.

Susan will miss her wonderful husband Joe, daughter Karri (Sheldon) Reiter, step-son Keith (Deanne) Crewe and their children, Ellinor and Juniper. She will also miss her sister Debbie McDormand (Rob), and their children Geoff (Tiffany and Henry) and Abby, and all our close personal friends and relatives.   

The celebration of Susan’s life will be held August 26, 2023, at 255 3rd Avenue East, Englefeld, SK. This will be a pot luck (Susan loved pot lucks) so bring your best food, and be prepared to enjoy oldies but goodies music, and celebrate life. Let’s party.
