The sudden and unexpected death of Tyler Lee Schuler, 37 years of Saskatoon and formerly of Humboldt occurred on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Tyler was born on February 3, 1984 in Saskatoon to Bill and Lonita (nee Marshall) Schuler. They lived on an acreage near Saskatoon and he started school at Dalmeny. In 1993, his family moved to Humboldt, where Tyler spent the rest of his childhood. He completed his education there, graduating from Humboldt Collegiate Institute. During his high school years, Tyler worked at the Humboldt Co-op in the meat department. He played soccer in his younger years and still enjoyed the sport. After graduation, he moved to Saskatoon where he worked in the construction industry, doing carpentry and framing work. Tyler always had a keen interest in anything space related – watching space documentaries, following the news when shuttles were going into space and attending air shows. Tyler loved cooking, making a great meal and sharing those times with family and friends. He was a proud Canadian and celebrated July 1 each year. In May 2019, Tyler met Allisa Wiebe and a special relationship formed. Their daughter Acadia was born on August 18, 2020 and four days later, they became engaged. Tyler loved being a dad and Acadia had him wrapped around her little finger from the day she was born. Tyler will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his fiancée Allisa Wiebe and daughter Acadia Schuler of Saskatoon; parents Bill and Lonita Schuler of Saskatoon; sister Amanda Schuler (Alix) and her children Cohen and Kenley, and brother Clint Schuler, all of Saskatoon; Allisa’s family: her parents Dave and Rosalea Wiebe and siblings Kelsey (Cody) Short and Micah Wiebe, all of Saskatoon; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents George and Doreen Marshall and paternal grandparents Cliff and Dolly Schuler.
