She was an amazing women and a great teacher/mentor. I learned so much from her during the time we worked together, she was a role model as I moved forward in life. Her honesty, integrity, and giving of herself were some if the things that inspired me. I am so, so sorry to hear of her passing and my sympathy goes out to all her family and friends. She will be dearly missed and in many peoples memories for years to come. She definitely left her mark in this life and I feel privileged to have known her.

I was so saddened by the news of Sharon's passing. I was a student of her grade 1 class in Muenster in 1978, she was unanimously that whole grades favorite teacher. We were so excited when she brought her puppies to school for us to see and when she gave us the confidence to do our first play (Chicken Little) in front of our parents. We knew she loved her job, it was obvious, she showed us patience and kindness and that has not been forgotten in all the years since then. I now own a store in Humboldt and got to meet Sharon again as an adult and her as my customer! I feel so fortunate that I got to tell her that she was my favorite teacher. What a wonderful Woman, I will never forget Mrs. Putnam.
